The day started with the pupils going to their classes with their buddies in the morning. Later in the day, Riverlites and their buddies had more games and activities in the hall. At about 2.00 pm Surabaya time, Riverlites were given a warm farewell by SNA pupils and staff. Tears started flowing during the ceremony as the Riverlites bade their new found friends goodbye.
Then it was off to the airport where the Riverlites don their Surabaya T-shirts, a souvenir from Surabaya by the school.

Immersion Programme with Singapore National Academy (SNA)
We spent a fruitful day getting to know primary 4 students from SNA. The day started with a warm welcome by pupils from SNA where the pupils and teachers entertained us with song and dance items. We were also joined by our Principal, Mr Mah and the chairman and members from our SAC.
The Riverlites spent the day getting to know their buddies as they learn and play with them. Pupils got to know about atoms in their Science class, played games during PE and draw and paint batik designs.
The day ended with the pupils having dinner at an Indonesian restaurant where they served delicious sate and grilled fish. Finally, back in the hotel, the pupils did some reflecction on their day which they shared with their friends.

A WONDERful Day at Jatim Park
We had an WONDERful day at Jatim Park 1 & 2. It started with an hour bus ride from our hotel in Malang back to Batu. The weather was perfect for our walks.
At Jatim Park 1, we learnt a lot about the Indonesian culture, Science and History as we walked through the amazing and engaging exhibits.
Batu Secret Zoo at Jatim Park 2was our next stop where we were surprised at the wide variety and unique species of animals they had. Every few steps led to us discovering something new and exciting. There were monkeys, panthers, snakes fishes and birds in one place.
Our walk made us a little hungry so we went to an Indonesian restaurant for lunch before we headed back to Jatim Park 2 for a look at the Animal Museum. Here we see lifelike recreations of a lot of animals as well as fossils.
The day ended with a 3 h bus ride back to Surabaya town where we had dinner at Pizza Hut before we checked in to Sahid Hotel Surabaya.
